Sam
"As one of the top performers of the day in KTL, Sam has taken on some of the largest and most iconic roles the show has ever done. Most notably, Sam, as Edmund Pevensie, was lured into selling out his siblings for Turkish delight in our Narnia production. Rumor has it that between rehearsals and shows, Sam consumed two whole boxes of "sweeties." Sam is also well known for his continuing saga as a pirate in such stories as our retelling of the Veggie Tales Pirates Who Don't Do Anything tale and our topic of honesty. He has also brought life to Marlin in Finding Nemo and brought the spirit of Christmas to the show as the hero boy in Polar Express."
Matthew
Performances: Cowboy, President Bush, Superhero Flash, Barney Fife, amateur golfer (VBS07), Mr Beaver and cameo movie director (Narnia 6/08), Mufasa (King's Lion VBS09), Howard (Pirates of the I Don't Care-ibbean), the Mad Hatter (Alice in Wonderland), Big John (Wild West), Bruce (Finding Nemo's Creator), Mr Beaver and the Professor (Narnia 12/10), Heinz Dufenshmirtz (Phineas and Ferb), Magorium (Christmas at Magorium's Emporium), HG Wellsworth (The Time Machine VBS12) and the voice behind many of our puppet friends: Rocky, Jedi, Winchester, Mrs Stewmaker, the Chef, Lenny, Pester, Ricky, Duke, Sammy, Slick, and Cleeper.
"Mostly seen on Capital's sanctuary stage performing in the church-wide Passion Play and the Christmas plays, Matthew occassionally wanders over to KidsTown and finds himself in the midst of a different setting. Matthew among the kids is actually most known for roles he is never seen in, as he frequently hides behind curtains while giving life and voice to a menagerie of puppet critters and characters. Most beloved are his friends Cleeper, Mrs Stewmaker, Rocky, Cleeper, Sammy, Slick, Duke, and Pester.
Julia

"A long-standing member of the church who has grown up in KidsTown, Julia has been no stranger to the stage. She performed for years in CBC's Patch the Pirate Choir. Her most notable choir performance was as Susan Pevensie in the Prince Caspian Musical, highlighted by her duet singing talents with Ashley. Julia's most notable KidsTown productions to date include the white tiger in Lion King and as Bubbles in Find Nemo's Creator. With her veteran knowledge of the stage, Julia is now moving into a leadership role and assuming top level actor castings such as her role as one of the Eye Witness News anchors who explained the spiritual significance of Narnia to the audience."
Ashley

"Following in the footsteps of her best friend, Julia, Ashley is also no stranger to the stage having performed in King's Choir musicals as well. Ashley was the second part of the musical duet in the choir's production of Prince Caspian when she played the role of Lucy Pevensie. Ashley has played several very memorable roles since on the KidsTown stage, some of which include her role as the orange tiger in Lion King, as Peach the starfish in Finding Nemo's Creator and as Wendy in the VBS production of the Pirates of the I Don't Care-ibbean. Coming on strong just like her counterpart Julia, Ashley has begun a transition into key lead roles on the performing stage. Her most recent entrustment was as the weapon weilding, yet gentle Susan Pevensie in Narnia. The complex role was masterfully done and highlights a newfound confidence and performance quality."
Pearl

"As a KTL walk-on, Pearl grabed the spotlight with gusto and her soft-spoken demenor has given way to some very dramatic and excellently played roles. Possessing incredible maturity and leadership skills, Pearl has grabbed the lead roles for some of the most difficult to cast performer roles in several high profile productions. Her most notable roles have been as Jadis in Narnia where she battled King Peter with real swords and as the Queen of Hearts in Alice in Search of a Wonderful Land. However, the performance that put this young actor on the map is without dispute her role as Mulan in the Hun Army of China. Pearl has also featured her acting abilities in the CBC Christmas production."
Bailey
"As the youngest member ever to break onto the KidsTown production stage, Bailey has gone where no other kid has gone, but many wish they could. Rare is the opportunity a child audience member gets the opportunity to be on the big stage, and yet, when a need arose and Bailey was selected, she grabbed the opportunity with her infectiously happy personality, scored a big hit in her debut, and hasn't looked back since. This young actor shows a well-advanced ability at script memorization, social adaptation and obedience to much older peers and fellow performers, and an overall natural talent for the stage life. Confidence is high for this young performer's future as she continues to impress with incredibly complex role opportunities such as her performances as Lucy Pevensie in Narnia '10 and Crikee in Mulan '12. Can you memorize a 32 page script in one week and handle five full costume changes in one show? Bailey can. Watch out Hannah Montana."
Evan
Performances: Dicken (Secret Garden), Jack the Pirate (Once Upon a Hallowed Eve), Mr Fabulous, a ninja, a Viking, bunny mascot, as himself (Evan's Pink Flamingo), party crasher and Time Machine student (VBS12), Phineas (Phineas and Ferb), Sir Juggle-a-Lot (Castles and Conquest and Bailey's Dream World), a Hun warrior and Chi-Fu (Mulan).
"As one of the only regularly performing male actors, Evan has had his pick of the male costuming and male role opportunities. Unfortunately, his acting world is still female dominated and thus he often finds himself in roles the girls force him into. Despite this drawback, Evan has not let it deter him from making his presence known as he gallops through the audience on a giant pink flamingo, eats more cookies than anyone should be allowed, and claims the title of "Mr Fabulous" as he sports his iconic Awesome t-shirt. Evan has been game for pretty much anything and it has brought a great and fun atmosphere to all of Kidstown. Just one thing we all must remember: don't call him Sir Juggle-a-Lot!"
Karla
Performances: a butterfly (Secret Garden), Little Red Riding Hood (Once Upon a Hallowed Eve), Fireside Girl (Phineas and Ferb), a ninja, a caribbean pirate (Bailey's Dream World), a Time Machine student (VBS12), a Shang warrior (Mulan), and Lady Lailynn (Castles and Conquest).
"An up and coming young actor, Karla often holds a deck of mystery behind her quiet persona. One who comes hard when big roles land in her lap, Karla has a bright future and will most likely be seen real soon in some leading roles. With her quiet personality and strong ability to remember lines, Karla plays good balance against Evan's often unscripted tangents and keeps the point of the skit moving forward."
Grace
Performances: a Shang warrior (Mulan), a party crasher and a Time Machine student (VBS 12), Pocahontas, and Lady Guinevere (Castles and Conquest).
"Another rising new talent, Grace posses strength and leadership potential much like her older sister, yet with a less serious and playful tone. Also a great person on script, Grace often carries the main point and keeps everyone on track. Grace's is now on many kids watch list after her recent staring role in this year's VBS as one of the students in HG Wellsworth's Time Machine."
Crystal
Performances: a Superhero (VBS07,12), safari traveler (VBS08), a butterfly (Secret Garden), a hippo (King's Lion VBS09), Catherine (Pirates of the I-Don't-Care-ibbean VBS10), Princess Periwinkle (Once Upon a Hallowed Eve), a member of the VBS Music Team (VBS11), and a Time Machine student (VBS12).
"Though new to the KidsTown Live stage, Crystal has snuck into several of our major productions over the years. Crystal and Sam are the only two performers that have been on stage in one way or the other since the very beginning. Crystal debuted as a superhero way back in 2007 and has been a part of VBS every year since. She has also made several appearances in Easter productions. We now look forward to what Crystal will bring to the KidsTown stage show."
Caleb
Performances: a ninja, Captain America (Caleb the Small) (Castles and Conquest), toy soldier (Christmas at Magorium's Emporium), and a king (Bailey's Dream World).
"Both Caleb and Bailey broke onto the KTL stage by becoming exceptions to the normal Kidstown performing rule which is a minimum grade of 7th before you can start performing in KTL because there was a need for small child actors for specific plays. Occasionally others get a chance but it is not common. Caleb and Bailey have the envy of all the audience when they get to perform in their exception roles.
Whenever we need a little guy, Bailey's younger brother, Caleb, often gets tapped for the role. Much to her chagrin, her Majesty usually takes it in stride except when he tries to be king in her dominion."
Jordan
Performances: the lime green Gorilla and an astronaut (VBS12)
"New to the performing stage in Kidstown, having made his debut in VBS12 as the beloved lime green Gorilla. Stay tune to see what Jordan brings to KidsTown!"
Ms Carrie
Performances: security guard (VBS 12)
"As one of KidsTown Live's top supporters, Ms Carrie is usually seen on stage assisting with the memory verse or telling a favorite story. However, Ms Carrie is a closet dancer and drama performer by night (just kidding). She does love a good tune that can often be heard coming from her car and she frequently works with the girls on music choreography. Ms Carrie has also been tapped as a security guard to keep the audience at bay when Mr Fabulous makes an appearance and also lock up for HG Wellsworth when he forgets to lock the classroom door. What other mystery roles are in store for Ms Carrie? Only time will tell."
Amber & LaReina
"Both mystery performers just beginning their KTL careers. What will they do and who will they become? Only the rambling writings of the scriptmaster knows..."
