Welcome to the Capital Baptist Church Awana Club website! We conduct two of more than 10,500 Awana Clubs operating around the world. We are in the midst of updating our website. Until the new site is launched, please contact the commanders below for more information on this year's program.We offer two weekly Awana Club programs. One club meets on Sunday evenings from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m for 2 years through High School. This club was our first founded club and has been in operation for over ten years serving primarily the English, Korean, and Filipino families. Our second club has been in operation for over five years and is on Wednesday nights, meeting from 7:15-8:40pm. This Club is offered through our Spanish Ministry. The primary language of the leadership is Spanish, however, for the attending children, English is the main language spoken. We offer both English and Spanish materials on this club night. Most of the children do English handbooks but hear their story time in Spanish. There is an interpreter for children who attend but do not know Spanish. This club has participated in the Regional Bible Quiz and hosted the Regional Awana Games at Capital. If you do not have a church home, we invite you to visit our church. Our Sunday mornings have available kids programs during our 9:30 and 11:00 services. There are no classes for children during our 8:15 service. There are also Sunday morning classes available for the rest of the family upstairs in the education building at 9:30 and 11:00. Spanish service and classes for kids are at 2:00. There is also a wide variety of weekly activities you can be involved in. We look forward to partnering with your family through Awana and our other church ministries in building a strong family bond with a strong relationship with God at the center!
