Hands on Bible

Down on Mainstreet, many of our classes have gotten an upgrade with some exciting new curriculum! In some of our classes, you can find the innovative new curriculum by Group Publishing, known as the "Hands on Bible."

It may look like a feather ball…
…but it's really a lesson about God's promises.

Toss a feather ball in the air and it lands feathers up- every time. Just like God keeps his promises: every time…without fail!

God wired your kids to learn by doing, not just watching. That's why even the best story-tellers and teachers eventually look out at a sea of glassy eyes.
But when children get their hands on the colorful, child-friendly gizmos you'll find in the Hands-On Bible Curriculum…that's when learning kicks into high gear.

We fire up kids' imaginations. HOB taps into kids' God-given desire to play. Experiment. Wiggle. Discover. We teach the ways kids learn best!

Eyes light up with understanding. Kids' hearts turn toward God. Their faces widen with bright, delighted smiles as they make the connection between a feather ball and the promises of an eternal God.

We'll confess: this wasn't our idea. Jesus was the master of using coins, mustard seeds, and lilies of the field to help learners discover life-changing Bible truths. We've simply followed His lead.

The classes currently using this new curriculum are:

9:30 Preschool
2's with Grace Porter
3's with Gizette Khamphong

11:00 Elementary
5's with Steve & Mary McMurrer

3-4 Grade Girls with Kellie Mae Johnson

It looks like a colorful car puzzle…
…but its really teaching a lesson wisdom.

A simple car puzzle helps kids grasp God's wisdom in crafting Creation- each day was another piece in God's plan...
